Built-in options
- Text size: make text larger or smaller from the accessibility menu.
- High contrast: stronger colours and underlined links.
- Easy-read font: a font with wider spacing that many readers with dyslexia prefer.
- Listen: have any tutor answer read aloud.
- Speak: ask questions with your voice instead of typing.
- Languages: English, Twi, Ewe, Ga, Dagbani and Fante.

Our standard
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 level AA: keyboard access, visible focus, labelled controls, good colour contrast and support for screen readers. We also respect your device's “reduce motion” setting.
Low data and basic phones
EduMate works on slow connections, can be installed as a light web app, and is available by WhatsApp and USSD (*713#) on any phone.

If something is hard to use, please tell us. We treat accessibility problems as bugs.
